What is Severe Oppression?

Severe = “Causing very great pain, difficulty, worry, damage, etc.; Very serious”.

Oppression = “Prolonged cruel or unjust treatment or exercise of authority. The state of being subject to oppressive treatment. The feeling of being heavily burdened or distressed, mentally or physically, by great challenges, adverse situations, anxiety, etc.”

FREEDOM FOR BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST

If you’re born again, you can begin to take authority over every evil in your life in the name of Jesus Christ. You will begin to gain power in Jesus Christ through a biblical process called spiritual warfare. Spiritual warfare is a way of turning the tables on the enemy of your soul because you have the Most High God as your covering and Savior. Spiritual warfare is to do battle against spiritual forces aimed at you, rather than against people or agencies.

Total healing is available to all born again Christians, no matter what you’ve been through. You can choose to apply any or all of the specific healing steps below. They can be practiced regularly until you come to new victory and blessing in various areas of your life. Let it take as long as it takes. Trust God. 

Psalm 20:6, Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed. He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.

YOUR VICTORY CHECKLIST:

Here are some suggested steps you can take to walk out your spiritual warfare:

• HEAR
  The devil attacks believers through the mind. Getting the Word of God into you is the only way to develop faith and renew your thinking to rightmindedness. Guard and renew your mind as you sleep by downloading an ad-free KJV audio bible app. Sleep with the bible playing at night. You can start the audio at Proverbs or Psalms and play it through to the prophets. This will be about 8 hours. Or start the audio at Acts and sleep through the Epistles. This will be about 8 hours as well.
  
  
• SPEAK
  Your spoken word is very powerful. Learn to speak the promises of God and renounce sin and iniquity with your confessions. For this purpose I have collected these 50 powerful biblical prayers. Pray them regularly until every aspect of your life is blessed.
  
  
• RESET
  When we’re born again, we’re newborn children of God. Our words are extremely important. So we will begin to no longer label our selves by the labels the world used to define us. For example, you are no longer a targeted individual, you are no longer an addict, you are no longer an empath. Let the past identities and self-associations go. You’re a Christian. Keep it that simple. You may need to break soul ties with these old labels.
  
  
• BREAK
  We are all affected by the unconfessed sins of our ancestors as the sins of the fathers are passed to the children. Therefore it’s vital to identify ancestral generational patterns / curses and work through Christian deliverance and healing.
  
  
• RENOUNCE
  We are affected by oaths and vows we have taken and the oaths and vows taken by our ancestors until we break them. Make sure to renounce freemasonry and other clubs, associations and other allegiance-centered memberships.
  
  
• REMOVE
  Ask the Holy Spirit to show you cursed items on your devices, in your house and wardrobe that should be removed. Family heirlooms may need to be prayed about. Photos, letters, files, artwork, digital downloads, books, client files, gifts, travel mementos, collected things. You will notice many things that should not come forward with you. If you have fear, this is not the Holy Spirit. There is nothing to fear. This is just wise discernment. Take it slow as you need, but be diligent when you hear from the Lord. This will happen over time as the Lord brings more and more things to your understanding.
  
  
• RECOGNIZE
  Where there are poor boundaries in families, there’s likely a history of incest. Incest brings serious repercussions if it’s not renounced. Renounce incest in your bloodline.
  
  
• LOOSE AND UNTIE
  People are emotional. The devil snares people fairly easily through trapping souls in ungodly soul ties. Therefore it’s vital to go through the process of breaking ungodly soul ties and inordinate affections.
  
  
• DISCERN AND LEARN
  Guarding against wrong teachers will be vital to your healing process. Pray daily for discernment, because corrupt people will try to come to you. Pray for God to send you leaders with no charisma, just a simple, consistent track record of good fruit. Pray for leaders who teach the accurate Word of God by the canonical 66 books.

• GO DEEPER
  Most people today, even Christians are harboring unhealed trauma and deep wounding in the soul. Churches often wrongly teach Christians to ignore their past and spiritualize their trauma. But this only leaves ground for the devil to get in and work through those unhealed wounds. All Christians have to go through a healing process with the Lord. The devil is the father of all lies and he has lied from the beginning. But my savior Jesus Christ offers unending hope and truth. He is the only way to salvation. He is the true light and He offers eternal life to me and all who confess Him as Lord and walk with Him according to the New Covenant. 

Jesus is my healer, my counselor and my deliverer. He died to take away all of my pains, burdens and hurt so that I have access to perfect healing as I grow in faith with Him. There are many snares set by the kingdom of darkness to confuse people in search of healing, but Jesus is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. This is why I seek healing in direct relationship with the Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, by the Word of God.

Father, your word says that Your children will see great rest, compassion, and restoration of land, fortunes, joy, gladness and purity. This will be a great and powerful testimony to Your power as the Living God, and I give you all the glory for that in Jesus’ name!

God is by nature the healer of our souls. He restores us all by Himself! His presence heals us. His truth heals us. His life heals us.
